Yesterday I was playing GB and guess what we lost to a bunch of wall hackers and aim bots. Now in my opinion MW2 is dead and will be for ever dead that games sucks soooo much it’s insane. That game was screwed up from the start. No one liked it people thought it was going MLG but nooooo people had to hack and glitch crap like always. I hope Black ops is as good as CoD4 and WaW. I just moved to Halo because there is no hacking. In GB how in hell will you dispute in Halo like there is no glitches no hacking and no BS in that game. In CoD you could light some kid up and he would just jump around a corner and knife you man that so not fair.

Rumor has it; Maddog has changed over to Empire Total War he has been playing this for a couple months now. Recently he contacted Takedown, set him up with the game and challenged him to war. Takedown accepted this challenge and totally embarrassed Maddog destroying his whole army and only suffering little damage from Maddogs pups. If these rumors are true Maddog should be coming back with his tail between his legs soon enough.

This game only comes out ever four years just like real world cup.

Ok to start of all that has been released are the basics about what’s going to be the main plot of the game. PS the real world cup is in Africa so this is based off of the real world cup.

Now to the review

Near 200 national teams. All the stadiums, and fans creaming there heads of to the world’s biggest sporting event of the year. It’s safe to say EA’s latest World Cup game will be the one to wait for……..for all the soccer fans here.

Sure you can recreate international tournaments in the last game. But with such a big selection. It’s hardly going to be an authentic World Cup experience. According to FIFA 10 most of Africa doesn’t exist. Thankfully, that’s something the new title with all the big African nations like Ghana, Ivory Coast and Togo in there.

EA says it wants to recreate the crazy atmosphere of the world’s most popular sporting tournament. And with pre-match confetti full 3D crowds for all the teams (which includes supporters with face paint, hats and banners……they took it to far) and all 10 stadiums that will be used in South Africa.

Commentary is also up to the FIFA legacys high standards. Clive Tyldesley normally is, paired with Andy Townsend in the UK version. They even provide inside info on each side’s manager which is handy because the of all the biggest nations feature in the game. and give you inside info on two highly known coaches in mid game battling for a win to advance.

Alright this is a bit of an obvious but ill say it any ways. This game is built on a bigger engine last year’s title. Which means World Cup is more impressive than its last one.

Seeing as FIFA 10 already plays the most balanced, addictive game of soccer ever, big changes just aren’t necessary. With that said the small tweaks that will be made are going to be made very nicely. Players now feel weightier so now you cant run every were with your player. While build up play is also a little quicker so it’s now easier to play a tight passing game as you pass the ball across the field.

Covenant weapons……

• Plasma Rifle: The shots slow down as it heats up and it needs to reload instead of recharge. It’s a bit more effective than the old Rifle.
• Plasma Launcher: This thing can send a stream of four plasma explosives then will track any player or vehicle on the other team similar to the Needler.
• Focus Rifle: This is described as a combination of the Sentinel Beam and the Beam Rifle you can zoom in with it and the launch a beam right at YOUR FACE.
• Plasma Repeater: This one’s interesting. Bungie says the Plasma Repeater is the Covenant answer to the UNSC Assault Rifle and replaces the Plasma Rifle. You can lock on to your enemies and get multiple people in one Burst.
• Needle Rifle: The Needler is a classic Halo weapon and it’s back in Reach…. But now it has a BIG DADY. The Needle Rifle is a slower more accurate version of Needler. The old Needler was a killing machine that was at its most dangerous when it fired full clips of pink death at your enemies.

Human tech (Spartans)……..

• New grenade launcher: The cool part about this is that if you hold down the trigger after firing the grenade won’t explode. This allows you to decide when that grenade will go off and I can already see pros using this to make BKs look really bad.
• DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle): The DMR is the same thing as the BR from Halo 3. It has 12 Shots in each clip and is a single shot gun but with lots of power. To kill another player it will take you 5 perfect shots with put any help of any other weapon.
• Assault Rifle: Same as old time
• Magnum: Some think oh what am I going to use a Magnum for……well this is an all around good gun it will take people out with a 5 shot clip and kill from far rang. This gun is the same as Halo 1 but just a bit new.

Pre-made Load Outs can be chosen before a round begins just like Call of Duty and can also be changed during a round while you wait to respawn, Load Outs are not player created but rather playlist and game type specific. They allow you to choose your Armor Ability…..your starting primary and secondary weapons…….and your grenade.

Custom made Load Outs won’t be made by you. Types of Load Outs available will be different depending on the gameplay mode. For some playlists that might mean every Load Out is the same weapon sets with only the Armor Abilities to tell them apart. For others it might mean that as the game goes on you’ll have access to more and more choices.

All kind of say what it is in the name.

• Active Camo: Is like in all games you can go invisible but……when you do it screws up the other team’s radar.
• Sprint: Same thing in Call of Duty just a sprint.
• Jet Pack: Its just a bunch of rockets on your back. And you fly

Anyone Just Wanna Write?

Hey if you just want to write for the hell of it please message me in some form.  I know guys like Captain Insano, Blind Mice, Tivo, Grim, Level, etc. like to talk a lot… You guys can write about basically anything its pretty much an open stage to voice your opinion about pretty much anything gaming related or not.  I need some of you guys to step up and start taking over the website.  I can’t be writing nonsense all the time.

If you guys want money for tournaments or supplies I need people to step up and do some work other then just game.

LRSD Memoriez is a WaW team created at Maddog’s request due to the
boredom he found in MW2. It has potential to be revived upon MadDog’s
return but the team has only played two matches and seems to not be
going anywhere.

LRSD Varient/PCL team is a group of LRSD members that will play MLG
variant and plans on becoming very competitive. The variant team will
possibly hold 6 or so members while the PCL team will only be four.
This team is I nthe works and has some of its members that are
awaiting LRSD to finish its playoff run before committing time to it.
However, this time around there is definitely enough motivation and
drive in its founders to take this team and the LRSD name to the top
of competitive gaming.

Active Members Starting With the Newer members:

KGW Senses – Insano found him and thought it was a match made in
heaven. He is a brain and has the same though process and competitive
nature as CAPTN. He currently plays some matches on MadDog’s team and
will be on the variant and PCL teams. He played in the first map of
playoff match #2 and was subbed out when IVI4RS made an appearance.
Senses is the #2 man for the “NVGL” (national video gamine league)
which is rumored to release this summer and instantly take over from
game battles as the online leader in video gaming. So to pick up such
a great guy is a good move for LRSD.

Konzle – formerly known as Rushy he is helping LRSD with a “secret
mission” to gain an edge on the playing field and get us cool stuff if
you know what I am sayin. He was recently put on the roster of
Maddog’s team but after a couple matches he was removed. At least
until he can further convince LRSD he can contribute as a player.

Miltonfudgecow – He is in a predicament. He was kind enough to let us
recover his account for playoffs even though Maddog kicked him out. He
has stayed close with many other members and is still faithful. There
is rumor of a request from a few other members for Maddog to reinstate
Milton, but rather he actually will or not is up to him. In the
meantime he has been hanging out making sweet graphics for us all.

Sho7s – Formally known as Liesss, he was recruited by iNSANO for
variant and PCL but he also has played in most of the SnD matches for
Maddog’s team. He is a talented kid who seems to have mleted right in
with the others and has a real future in LRSD. Sho7s helped play 3
last minute matches to secure LRSD’s playoff birth.

IVI4RS – currently doing his own thing for the most part trying to
find a competitive team. He has an open invite to the LRSD variant/PCL
team but he probably thinks it is a bit below his paygrade. He has
played a couple SnD matches on Maddog’s team this season and has
played at 3 maps of the 5 so far LRSD has played in playoffs.

Tivo – with others missing he is temporarily co-leading Maddog’s team
this season. He has played in all of the playoffs and most of the SnD
games this season. Nothing else needs to be said about tivo he is
doing his job and doing it well. Tivo helped play three last minute
matches to help secure LRSD playoff birth.

McSwaga – formerly known as Figz, McSwaga has been playing in most of
the SnD matches this season for MadDog’s team. HE would also be proud
to tell you he helped beat a talented SnD team in the first playoff
match. He helped us on second map destroy the competition 4-1.

CAPTN x iNSANO – helping co-lead Maddog’s team in his absence with
Tivo and has played in every match on that team this season. He played
the first playoff game, was absent for the second, but will play again
in the third. CAPTN demanded that he and others play in last minute
matches to secure LRSD playoff birth.

Mice – currently playing for another non LRSD variant team he has
played on his other account in a few matches for maddog’s team this
season. He also played in playoff game number 2.

Level –  currently doing his own thing trying to play variant
somewhere, and being bored with search is not also playing with
Maddog’s team.

Shadow – currently MIA. Besides letting his account be used by others
for playoffs he has not made an appearance this season.

JigSaw - Besides letting his account be used by others for playoffs he
has not made an appearance this season.

Takedown - Besides letting his account be used by others for playoffs
he has not made an appearance this season.

MadDog – Was last seen a couple weeks ago. He stated he was sick of
this game and was experimenting with WaW again but kind of just laying
low.

Clutchified – seems to be active in pubs on MW2 and hanging out with
some LRSD guys but not doing GB

ManCubb – due to the referees stating that he is an unfair advantage,
ManCubb is currently just hanging out and powning noobs with LRSD guys
in pubs where he makes his presence known.

Razorhead – He has been more active recently and loves playing in pubs
with LRSD and sippin on Sobe Pina Coladas!

Gymbo – is on vacation

Liath – Been playing with friends instead of the clan but has stayed in active through
the website

F3CCY – no clue

Unyielding Ghost – been seen playing pubs but that is about it

Diaperdandy – been seen online in various games but that is about it

Gauge – no clue but gives us the occasional shout box chat. We await his return

Frag – currently on dial up and we await his return

Well that’s the interaction I am aware of from my perspective and Hope
to see things come together for LRSD in the near future. That’s the
Latest update on active LRSD members.

Hey guys its Gymbo here and you are probably wondering what is going on lately. Well it seems to me that a lot of people are taking some time off (myself included) from the game and that’s expected with the weather getting nicer as we move into spring and summer.  Those who are around and want to continue to play please do.  If you are looking for people to team with let me know and I’ll put something up on the website.

Moving Back to World at War

Word on the street is that a lot of our guys are moving back to World at War.  If you want in on it contact Takedown or Mad Dog.  If you good at the game I’m sure they’ll find a spot for you on the team.  If you are bad at the game I’m sure they’ll find a spot for you on the team.  I might even make an appearance on the team.. Stay tuned..

LRSD Social Network

We plan on making the website sort of like a social network in the future. Members are going to have profiles and stuff like that.  I’m not sure when this move is going to happen but it should be happening soon.  We might even have a whole new look to the website. As soon as Magic Wooshy and I get off our ass we’ll get that done. So stay tuned!!

This new team features some of the top players throughout the LRSD such as Mad Dog, Interpretations, McNasty, Choppy, Camo and Blind Mice.

So far it looks like TBRE has fumbled the torch that was given to them by Pivotal Moments.  TBRE has started off with a mediocre 4-4 record and they have fallen from the first page of Game Battles.  Not to worry though the LRSD has all the confidence in the world that they can recover and make it back to the first page.  This is a young team with a lot of promise and there is only one way to go and that’s up.

Final Rankings:

1. Xtravagant IXI
Played solid the entire tournament. The only map they lost was a forfeit due to some rules confusion. IXI Played in a class of their own in this tournament and showed us that they have a lot in store for MW2.

2. Dirty Girls
A very young team that has only been playing together for less than a week. Dirty Girls did very well, but met their match with IXI. It was clear that these guys play with class, and have very high ambitions for MW2.

3. LRSD Pivotal Moments
I am very proud of my team. My guys played pretty well, and we proved a few teams wrong when they labeled us TDM all stars when we entered. We did kind of backdoor third due to some disqualifications, but I hope it is a sign of things to come for Pivotal Moments.

Thanks to all who participated and supported this effort. We do not have a final tally but I think our donation to Wounded Warriors will be close to 500 DOLLARS. Good job everyone!!!!! I am glad that a select few from the gaming world got together to do something they enjoy for the bettering of society.

We may do another tournament for charity in the future, but I will not mention anything of that.
